Industrial Annihilation is aiming to combine the best elements of real-time strategy and factory-building mechanics. Players will manage production pipelines alongside commanding armies creating a mix of resource management and strategic combat. Hoping to catch the wave of the rising tide of RTS games whilst leaning heavily on the success of games like Factorio, the team behind Industrial Annihilation have placed their trust in the community, relying heavily on the success of an all-or-nothing Kickstarter campaign.
(for the uninitiated, an all-or-nothing Kickstarter campaign will only release funding to the developers if the target is met)
As it stands, with 22 days to go in the campaign, and with a target of $200,000, backers have covered a little under half of the required funding. Some on the community side of the Kickstarter are asking why there has been little in the way of promotion around the campaign:

To summarise: Industrial Annihilation from development studio Galactic Annihilation is about a week in to it’s all or nothing Kickstarter campaign. Their last game, Planetary Annihilation, sold three million copies and they can claim lineage from Total Annihilation. That’s a lot of Annihilation!
