The thing I love about PC games is just how backwards compatible they are. Even if it means that a community has come together to make the game still playable when the developer has ceased all support.
Maybe it's my age, but I seem to prefer older games. Right now I'm most playing Age of Conan - released 2008, Supreme Commander - released 2007 and Rome: Total War - released 2004!
I have semi-recently got TIE Fighter working on Windows 11. That was released, originally on DOS in 1994! I bet some of the people here are younger than that.
