In my opinion, there are overlooked gems in RTS games and I would want us to discuss about them. There are so many features that deserve more love? It could be the weather, unit customization, or something else? Share your thoughts on this!
 
I think that a feature for Diplomacy is often underrated in RTS games. For some players, they have used that to great advantage. They have been able to negotiate treaties and alliances that has bolstered their chances. I personally have found real time strategy easier with Diplomacy feature on RTS games.
 
I think the dynamic weather and day-night cycles are so underrated. We all know that they add a whole new layer of strategy and immersion to the game. So, they deserve a mention.
