What Keeps You Coming Back to RTS Games?

I have couple of things that keeps me coming back to the RTS games. There are certain things that draws us back to these games time and time again. It could be the thrill of competition or the satisfaction we get from executing a perfect strategy. Share your reasons!

Well I always come back to RTS games especially after playing those fast paced action packed games. I'd use RTS games to calm my mind and remind myself that I am still in control.

For me, it's actually the competitive scene and esports aspect of it. I like watching pro players execute incredible strategies and learning from them really captivate me. The constant patch updates is another thing that keeps the game so fresh.

Rts games makes you think! This is the aspect of playing some of these games that I like. You are able to plan and start off attacks. For that reason, I keep coming back to play some of the games.

Having to consider your tactics and not just mash buttons is what means the most to me. RTS requires you to have skills such as decision making and critical thinking - with a little bit of multi-tasking thrown in. You don't get that in CoD.

I love that, in each gameplay, you can run sandbox mode for something new! It's never quite the same, and you get a different challenge each time.

RTS games isn't a game that you win with luck. You need to master your tactic and strategies as well as plan well to win. Doing that brings so much thrill to me. It's why always gets me back to playing.
