There are so many gamers who doesn't know the difference between RTS and TBS games. They usually mistake them to being the same thing but they are not. This is now an opportunity for others to learn when everyone chips in the differences they're aware that exist between RTS and TBS games.

What is the difference you know between RTS and TBS games?

I think the main difference between real time strategy games and turn based strategy game is the pace of gameplay. Actions unfold in real-time in RTS game. You need to think quickly as well as multitask. Whereas in turn based strategy games, players take turns making decisions, which is kind of more deliberate and strategic planning.

RTS means you have to be able to think on your feet. TBS mean you can take your time on things.

RTS games involves simultaneous actions and decisions in real time, while TBS games have sequential turns, pause and plan and no time constraints.

One of the major difference is in the gameplay. In TBS games, players take turns to make their moves, giving each players time to think and plan what they would do next. RTS on the hand does not give you this amount of time.
