In playing Supreme Commander, you have to make sure that you get your faction unit composition right with the best team or you're not going to stand a chance at winning. This will help you built up more on your strength and less on weakness.

What's your best best unit compositions in your faction?
 
UEF Pillar tanks with mobile shield gens with a few AA units is a great T2 grouping to dominate the mid-game.
