Warlords Battlecry is among the best classic RTS game series I played in the early 2000s. It was developed by Strategic Studies Group. It's focused on heroes with RPG leveling as it's blended with traditional RTS mechanics.

Battlecry 3 was the last game released on the franchise. It came out in 2004 but since then, nothing else have been seen. Fans are seriously waiting for the game to make a comeback.
 
Do you know why thee have not been other games in the series?
 
I haven’t played any games in Warlords Battlecry series but I know this game very well. I am really intrigued by the fact that from real time strategy games it it moving towards a blend of RTS and RPG (which is evident in second and third installment). I am not sure of die hard RTS fan will like this game
