The strategy game genre, renowned for its depth, complexity, and the cognitive engagement it demands, has always attracted a dedicated following. From the early days of chess to the digital age’s sophisticated simulations, strategy games have continually evolved.

Strategy games are a genre that emphasizes skilful planning and tactical thinking. They span various sub-genres, including real-time strategy, turn-based strategy, and grand strategy games. Each sub-genre has its unique appeal, but all share a common focus on decision-making, resource management, and strategic planning. These games often require players to manage resources, build and control units, and outmanoeuvre opponents through carefully considered strategies. Classic examples like Civilization, StarCraft, and Total War have set high standards, combining intricate gameplay mechanics with expansive narratives and historical or fantastical settings.

Hard to say how it will turn out, but I'm sure fans will get more into the game type and make their own creating more fun games to enjoy.

They really needed to work on cross platform playing because with most modern RTS games being placed on PC, it's cutting off so many millions of gamers from playing.
