Should kids game late into the night?

Some parents don't actually care to which extent their kids play games. I heard one kid say that he couldn't get much sleep because he was gaming till 4am in the morning.
My question is how would responsible parents allow their children to play games that late?
What should be done to rectify this?
 
Turn off the wi-fi. This is a major issue with kids these days and is impactive on education and mental health. Parents need to get control.
 
No, I would cut them off at like 8 or 9 at the latest and have them start getting ready for bed, so they don't turn out to be night owls.

Good thinking. Most kids don't know the limit when it comes to things like this, so it is the responsibility of the parents to set those limits and demand strict adherence to them.

Going off my own childhood desires of staying up till the early morning to play games if I could lol.
