When it comes to competition, there are certain RTS games perfect for online competition. Not only that, the prize pool also plays a big role in competitive gaming. With this, money prizes will be awarded to the winners. But what I want to ask is if they make the competition better or worse. What's your take on this?

It's important to consider the prize pool in gaming competition. On one hand, the incentives helps to bring in top players and that alone makes the tournaments very interesting. On the other hand, Players might actually get burned out due to the pressure to win at all costs.

The prize pool for competition needs to be allocated fairly and not only the winner should get money. Other participants should get something too. This will serve as a source of encouragement for all the players, especially the new ones.

Bigger prize pools in RTS competitions have undoubtedly transformed the competitive gaming landscape. Well, there are both positive and negative side to this but I can simply conclude that the large prize pools have significantly elevated the level of competition and interest in RTS games.

I don't do competitive gaming but the purse size for competitive gaming is certainly one of the things that has made some games more popular than the others.
