For me, it's very important to make friends but I also know when to go solo. It's soothing to collectively trade resources or even form alliances to take down a common enemy. But, the issue is, can you trust other players? I need you to share your thoughts on this.

I love to make alliances and It's just like forming a team to take down the bad guys. With this, you will be able to work together and share resources. But, you have to be careful not to get betrayed. I've had horrible experience with this before where my ally eventually turned against me and stole all my resources.

Well, I think diplomacy is so cool, but it's not always easy. Sometimes, other players just want to fight and they will not want to listen to reasons. And, even if you make a deal, there is no guarantee they'll keep their word. But, when it works, it's really amazing!

Diplomacy could be a vital strategy for RTS games. It is not every player that you should fight. If you do so, you would easily deplete your resources. Always explore the option of building alliances and see if it is possible. With that, a player would be able to save some ammunition and resources for the real battle.

I think diplomacy is a vital strategy when it comes to playing RTS, not everything has to be about war. I strongly believe there is more strength in gaining ailes than enemies in RTS games. And this also applies to the real world.

I do not think it is a waste of time, I believe diplomacy is actually a good strategy in RTS, for example, it can help you forge alliance or negotiate peace. You can even gather information or divide your opponents

To an extent, you are correct. Diplomacy can be seen as a tool to get through your rivals as well. You act like a sheep to dig out the information that you need while playing the game.

Not all games feature diplomacy. It's not a well used mechanic in RTS. Maybe in other strategy games. In RTS I can see the typical use of diplomacy being an an alliance of convenience where weaker players may agree to a ceasefire to join up to attack a mutual threat.
