How much have you saved buying during sales events?

Steam sales or holiday promotions is one of best sales events when you can get good sales discounts on several RTS games. Those games can go as low as $10 or even lower if you're interested in buying older RTS game titles.

Have you been able to take advantage of any game's sales events? Which RTS games did you buy and how did you manage to save from it?

I usually wait until a sale to buy a game. I haven't in a lomng time payed full rpice for anything. A bargin is a bargain.

My last purchase was Homeworld remastered. I bought it on Steam for $12. I think that was a good deal. I usually wait for sales or discounts before I buy games.
