Do you skip cutscenes in games?

I have the habit of skipping some cutscenes when they show up in games, especially when I feel they are not that necessary. But sometimes it makes me lose some vital information that may be helpful for me along the way.
Sometimes I will come across an unfamiliar storyline, but I wouldn't have found it unfamiliar if I didn't skip the cutscenes
Do you also skip cutscenes?
