When it comes to ads being used in video games, they are only used on free to play games. This is because it's part of the ways the game developers monetize their free video games. If you're into playing such free games with ads being displayed once in a while, do you intentionally click on the ads just to support the developers?
 
I remember quite a few times that I click on some ads, though they relate to gaming. I was interested in the said ads and I clicked to check them out. But if it’s what I have no interest I always ignore. They make enough money from impressions.
