The iPhone 16 and the Pro version is the talk of the town now. There are a couple of features that make it stand out from the rest. Are you really going to get one, or you don't have plans for it this year?

Truth be told, there are no outstanding features of the newest iPhones compared to the existing ones. So for now I'll pass.

Not an iphone user, but saw some people at work get them, they seem nice a bit but nothing I get.

Nope. I would rather get a last-gen option second hand because there is very little difference between the 15 and 16. Perhaps the dedicated camera button, but that's it. I thought Apple would differentiate by giving their Apple Intelligence only to these new phones or only the pro models, but that is not the case.

If all current apple phones have the same AI capabilities, similar features, and similar performance, why would anyone get the latest model?

Yes, I know there are slight battery, screen, and performance/silicon differences, but the differences are not big enough to justify getting the latest model when the 15 is more than enough for most people and what they use a phone for.

Some people like status and brag about having the latest model. Plus some treat their phones like trash and need to replace it due to damage and abuse to it.
