Generally, real time strategy games are very addictive. Maybe because they allowed you to influence the game storyline and due to the fact that its multiplayer is highly competitive. I like the way it lets me build bases and command armies.

What do you think makes RTS games so addictive?

For me, I so much love the thrill of the competition. With the multiplayer modes, I can compete against other strategists and that has really pushed me to improve greatly .

One factor that keeps me engaged is the customization features in the RTS games. I’m able to unlock new units and upgrades any time I want. There is something about the sense of accomplishment when I conquer a tough campaign. RTS games offer endless fun to me.

Entirely the opposite. I don't play competitively. I'm not good enough to do so. I just enjoy the build up and the result of long plays.

Isn't all of them addictive if you're the type that loves playing such games? It's the same thing with other genres of video games. Being able to play it in real time and building up something how I want it done is why I'm addicted to RTS games.

There's always a lot for you to do whenever you're playing RTS games. It's not a game that will bore you when you start playing it because you will be engaged from the beginning to the end of the game. This is what I believe that makes RTS games very addicting to play.

There's so much to do when playing RTS games. It's not a game which you're stuck with doing only one thing. You build your team, manage resources, micro manage task and so much. It makes RTS games so much different.

RTS games are addictive for those who play and enjoy it. I find RTS games very addictive because these games challenge my mind. I have to balance resources, build strategies, and adapt to unpredictable opponents, all of these activities give me an adrenaline rush.

RTS games have never been boring. It's why them being addictive to gamers who enjoys playing it easily. If it's shooting all through the game, it will get to a point where it becomes a boring chore.

RTS games are interactive, this is one of the main reasons why RTS games can never be boring. RTS games are also very challenging as they have complex mechanics and you need to multi tasks. The skills you need to play RTS games are also usable in the real world, or let say the skills you need in the real world are very useful in the game.

The Strategy games that are based on real time adventures are very enjoyable and often very difficult to put down. You can make your own world unique, have a lot of authority to make significant choices and even get to control an army. It's all fun!

From gathering and management of resources, building an army, micro manage them, battle and defend your base in a single game with every single thing being done in real time, why wouldn't it be so much fun..? It's what makes RTS games so different in a positive way.

There are a lot of things to do in a RTS games, you just don't fight, you also build base, gather resource, micro and macro manage. The activities in the game always keep you occupied, you also switch between different activities, which brings freshness in the game.
