I did it when I was younger. It is called good Game Empire. Honestly, it was pretty good at that time. The only problem was it was mostly pay-to-win which is not surprising, to be honest I would come back to it sadly forgot my login :(

check it out if you are intrested you can also play it on your phone

Goodgame Empire

I haven't. Maybe there is a bit of elitism in that. You should check out Kanoogi and IGSE by Chris Taylor. He's working on a new RTS and it is intended to be browser and cloud based.

Most pay to win games on browsers don't catch my fancy. I haven't tried any browser based RTS games though, because most games played on browsers usually have reduced graphics quality.

The Good Game Empire sounds like a blast from the past to me. I sincerely understand why you'd enjoy playing the RTS game directly from a browser. If not for anything, but for the fact that it's so convenient.

I prefer RTS games that are available on my phone, but I have tried Forge of Empires in the browser a long time ago. I like the gaming experience better on mobile.

I haven't played on my browser before but I heard that it's so easy to play RTS games in browsers because of the flexibility it offers. Well, The pay-to-win aspect is a big shame and I think things like this should be regulated in the gaming landscape.

I’ll advise you to try and reset your password because that's how to relive the experience. I know now it feels to revisit old favorite games and see how they hold up. I think Good Game Empire still worth checking out on.

Rise of the Nations has a browser based variant called Rise of Rajas. It is completely cloud based. I use to play it quite often when I am on the go. You need to create a account and login with that account. And you are good to play the game.

Yes, I played them when I was little on flash game pages as minigames, they were not the first RTS that I played, but I have tried them when I had fewer resources.

I knew there was the ability to play RTS games through a browser but it is not something I have done myself. Understandably, most will be pay-to-win, especially if they are free games on the browser which most are.

Yes, I have played a few RTS games in the browser, which I don't even remember the names, but I definitely prefer RTS video games which I play directly from the computer, that is, installed and previously purchased.

I haven't played or come across any RTS games I can play directly from my browser. If I can find one, it would be nice cause it would help me save space on my device. I am currently battling with low space. There are some files I can't delete right now.

I haven't played any of the rts games via browser. I don't think most of those ones that can be played via browser would give me the type of gaming experience that I desire from playing rts games. So, I avoid such.
